At first

Most of us wear shoes. Some of us have more than one pair of shoes. We wear different shoes at different times, for different occasions and purposes.  The shoe is a telling article of clothing. It tells us where a person is going. It tells us what the person does for a living.  It tells us how rich or poor the person is. It can even tell us the personality of the person.

Here, in this blog, I invite you to pass judgment and make assumptions of the persons in the shoes, and write about your perceptions. Who is the person in the photo?  Is she a business woman? An athlete? A dancer?  Is he nice, or snotty? Would you be friends with the person in the shoes? Based on your own opinions, tell me who you think the person is.

You may format your comments however you wish.  You may find it helpful to put yourself in the shoes, write a story, make a list, or come up with just one sentence.  It is up to you.

Please, please, please take this seriously, and actually write what you perceive, and not a joke about the person.  (Example of an unusable comment: This person is a crazy terrorist who hates the world) Remember, this is a class project.

Thank you for looking, and thank you for commenting!

  1. I love it! You never cease to amaze or inspire me Katy. I'm so excited that you gravitated to the shoe project and look forward to promoting your projects via Media Project's website.

Are you also documenting or getting the unknown model's story about their shoes?

Best of luck with your project, I will do my best to send you some models.
